That's right sports fans, I have finally had it with 1and1 hosting. There are several reasons why I am sick of them, but for starters if you did not just notice, the site was down.
Why, you might ask?
Because I was trying to FTP some files to the server....yeah, I know....ridiculous. I have signed up for new hosting at Surpass now. Another reason was our current 200GB of storage and 2TB of bandwidth, was rivaled with 400GB of storage and 4TB of bandwidth for the same price.
So that's it, we will be migrating soon. As soon as I can get the files down and the databases moved, I will give a heads up for the move. This week hopefully it will be done. This might include some downtime for the site if the server keeps going down when I FTP as well.

sure is the third. 2nd move. and to top it off, now i have to move this version and the new version. actually should not be too bad and i hope to have it done in the next few days.

Tomorrow I will be migrating us to the new server. I have already uploaded my 5GB of data from the 1and1 server and first thing in the morning I am going to move the db over to the new host as well. There WILL be downtime tomorrow, hopefully under an hour.

i was trying to keep things updated but i was also getting pretty impatient too. was definitely not supposed to take that long.
