hi guys,
right now i have for grabs a 1991 Honda CBR1000f, I bought it off the previous owner as a project bike. my friend offered me a reasonable deal on his f2 CBR600 so i'm trying to come up with the cash.
the engine and frame of the bike is sound, carb needs to be cleaned and some maintenance work. the bike is pretty much naked at the moment i have the fairings if you want them. the big things are bent front wheel, no gauges/headlights, dead battery. front brakes need to be reattached . the engine does turn over and does turn on will idle, it seems to be running a little lean at the moment.
no rattles or knocking from the engine at all, fixed oil and coolant leak when i brought it from the previous owner. i believe it's been dynojet'd and comes with a full yoshimura exhaust system. the bike does move under its own power but like i said because the carbs the engine cuts out when you give it throttle.
all the gears switch up and down, no problems with the clutch, i brought home the bike on the 12th or october so i haven't registered the bike yet. i do have all the paper work from the first owner to the second owner (which i bought the bike from) / agreements / dmv transfer paper / bike registered to the second owner.
all the vin number and original plates are still intact and in perfect condition. the tires are pretty new, a lot of rubber still left on them. previous owner also bought an extra starter so have a spare starter too. great project or part out bike.
