ey guys,
Went to start my bike ('90 cbr 600 F) after a large amount of modification. (first time i went to start it in a year and 3 months....)

Anywho, I went to start it, (battery hooked up to a tender) and Click.... loud metallic clicking coming from the starter relay...

Now, My main question... I took out alot of wiring that went along with my instrument cluster off my bike.. Could this have broken a circuit?

Is it just a completely dead battery? (Sat for over a year before I hooked it up to the tender)

I'll be getting a multimeter in the next couple days so I will be able to provide more information.....

Thanks in advance..

So, I checked out the battery... running 12.6 Volts...My main concern is I took out all wiring associated with the Guage cluster.  Anyone think I broke a circuit by doing so?

well just for a quick check you can jump the main positive battery cable at the starter relay to the cable from the starter at the same relay with a screwdriver to see if the bike turns over. if it does the starter and battery is good. i suspect because you get a click from the relay your wiring is ok.
