Ok as I have mentioned before, I have a polished D&D canister thats was all rashed up from a lowside (Deal's Gap). Well I took it apart and cut the rashed areas out as much as I could and rotated the sleeve so what was facing the wheel faced out now. Shortened it to about 10 or 11". Re-riveted it and mounted it. Well, it looks kewl, but its louder than sin itself. At 5k it is as loud as it was before at 10k. I wonder if I can repack it and make it quieter? Anyhow heres the pix of it. I will try to get a sound clip tomorrow.

Looks great.  You should be able to buy more padding and pack it in there to quiet it down.

looks good man, and as rrasco said just get some packing to quiet it down, u will have to drill ur rivets again tho haha

I just shortened a D&D can I had. A CF can can be cut down in the same manner. I have a cf can but its CF looks like its burnt lol.

That sounds awesome.  Loud pipes save lives.  How many alarms have you set off with it?  I use to ride through the Wal Mart parking lot and set them off all the time for fun.   Tongue  The things you do for fun when your bored.

I sold that can not long after I made it lol. Was insanely loud. I have a repacked CF D&D now. But it def got the  cows attention lol
