My Custom Shorty D&D

Ok as I have mentioned before, I have a polished D&D canister thats was all rashed up from a lowside (Deal's Gap). Well I took it apart and cut the rashed areas out as much as I could and rotated the sleeve so what was facing the wheel faced out now. Shortened it to about 10 or 11". Re-riveted it and mounted it. Well, it looks kewl, but its louder than sin itself. At 5k it is as loud as it was before at 10k. I wonder if I can repack it and make it quieter? Anyhow heres the pix of it. I will try to get a sound clip tomorrow.

Looks great. You should be able to buy more padding and pack it in there to quiet it down.

I just shortened a D&D can I had. A CF can can be cut down in the same manner. I have a cf can but its CF looks like its burnt lol.
Heres a sound clip.

That sounds awesome. Loud pipes save lives. How many alarms have you set off with it? I use to ride through the Wal Mart parking lot and set them off all the time for fun.
